Bendmaster FT fine tuner dimensions
I'm looking to get some fine tuners for the FT on my Spectrum SX, I know they are M4, but what is the dia of the head, and overall length? I found I can use the M4 12mm lock nut bolts, but there really isn't much thread left for adjustment.

Re: Bendmaster FT fine tuner dimensions
Okay Sergeant, here is the skinny...
Straight knurled cap measures 9.5 mm diameter by 4.8 mm tall.
Threaded shank is indeed 4mm pitch and extends for just over 16 mm of length.
The end of the tuning screw has a spherical radiused tip which checks about 3.6 mm round which I am assuming was machined there to protect the bearing surface of the claw.
... as you were.

Finding ones that have a painted finish will be the challenge.

Excellent! thanks Ice.
Do you think a 10mm dia. cap can fit? if not I'll plump for the 8mm

Re: Bendmaster FT fine tuner dimensions
Adding an extra mm (.0394") would cause definite binding issues as the heads would be interfering with each other on the trem, I doubt you could even get them to spin at all.
The extra beef of a 10mm head would be negligible from a strength standpoint. Even if you went with 5 or 6 mm heads (as I understand Hoax does due to the, shall we say... "delicate nature" of his fingers) there would still be enough strength there to turn the trick.

I thought as much, the 10mm cap on my other guitar's FR is really really tight, the FT looked tighter still, thanks for the help.
