Let's see everyone's rare guitars. Or maybe your favorite guitars, rare or not.
Here's my Samick. Got a set up done recently by a man who really knows his stuff, and now this thing resonates like no other guitar I've ever heard! Very hard to come by Samick SBA460 TS. It's a 1998, bought it new as my first guitar.
Unique design, which I love. The open headstock allows for amazing string resonance as the head doesn't steal the string energy.
So let's see your rare or favorite guitars!!!

Just to keep the ball rollin' ....
An instant favorite I drove over 700 miles yesterday to fetch. Will get better pics up later after she gets back from the salon.

The greatest Strat....or Sarc... ever
It's actually a 1984 Japan made Fender. The first guitar I ever bought and as you can tell has quite a lot of mileage on it.

Gotta be this old girl; Vantage VA900 bought new in Australia in 1980 and worked hard for 25+ years since. Now sadly sored in a shipping container in NZ.... gold-plated brass hardware, 24 fr neck and MMK 53s making noise... never once let me down...

That may be the nicest Hondo I've seen. Always hated Hondo's but that one I think I would enjoy.

You want to know the in's+out's of a ducks arse Ice.
Here goes, You'll be asking me to predict the outcome of the next world series .
Well I'll tell ya. It'll definately be an American team 'cause not many countries play rounders.
'78 Antigua Tele. Used to belong to Steve Hillage.
'62 Srat.
'60's Limited edition Jaguar
'69/70 Les Paul custom
Danelectro DC '59.
And many more, 2 '63 Jazz Basses(original) loads of Strat's, Tele's. Most are in storage.
I've been collectings these for years, too many to remember.
Too much information for now Ice.

Sheesh! I want Tuesday evening Westbone back.
TMI is one of the most evil canards foisted upon an unsuspecting public in recent memory.
Love that Black Beauty. Wondering now how closely related to mine it is. Serial on mine is 182864. Smaller transitional volute and MIA stamped.
You have to date yours with the pot codes as well?
Absolutely LOVE the Dan. Quite the space age vibe I'm getting from those shiny cylindrical pups.

Wanting to shift the topic back to the topic heres my latest:-
Takamine AN16, bought off a mate in the pub, played live with him once in 1976 (I think) when he was a teacher and I a student.
He set it up and the action is great, especially for an acoustic. Build quality superb, sound fantastic. Ive read some average reviews for this model but have to say mine is superb or better, clarity of tone, playability, bass through to treble.... etc..

Like Corsair I tend to look towards the guitar that I've had almost forever....my '64 Gibson ES-330TD which I've featured in a post here somewhere before.
But, since you can never enough guitar porn in here...
It's hard to believe I actually gigged her. It's a wonder she's still in one piece!
And Damian, from what little I've seen, you have an absolutely beautiful collection.
Is the Dano the reissue version? I have a '56 U2 RI (Korean) and it's a blast.

It's a reissue, pukka Dano, apparently.
with a original coke bottle headstock.
The newer type ones have a bit of a kink on the headstock, to stop folks counterfeiting.
Light on the neck, back and don't sound to bad. In fact sound 'king good.
Barry, swap you 2 Rainbows for a Gibbo. Just like yours.

Ok, I'm betting none of ya have this one.
A big $65 dollars on Ebay for my step daughter. What good be cooler than Snoopy playing a Sax with a built in amp guitar?
Needless to say, I don;t bring this one out to gigs.

Ok Barry, 2 Rainbows and a packet of strings,,,
Do like the grain on the back... reminds me of scenes from Lord of the Rings...
Funny how in days gone by manufacturers put a fancy grain on the rear.
