Where can find out more about Westone instruments?
Please visit our main information web site http://www.westoneguitars.net for specific model details, pictures, history, catalogue scans, and more.
You can also click on the Westone logo in the widget column to the right, or the Westone logo in the main navigation bar at the top of the page.
A Note About non-Japanese Westones
Here, we focus almost exclusively on the Westone branded instruments produced by the Japanese manufacturer Matsumoku Industrial from about 1980 to 1987, as well as some produced by St. Louis Music in the USA, and Sid Poole in the UK.
Occasionally we discuss certain Korean made "transitional" Westones from the late 80's to early 90's which are considered to be of interest and good quality. However, we do not maintain comprehensive data either here or on the web site of Korean made Westone instruments.
Any new "Westone" branded guitars for sale are mostly copies of Fender, Gibson and BC Rich, and are built in China.
They are judged to be vasty inferior products to those we discuss here and are not covered at all.
