just for the record I have a few fenders including a deluxe plus 1996 with a rosewood fretboard ..the westone is every bit as well built as my fenders ..compliment to the men that built it .. it iis nice to be able to compare it to something concrete .. who would have thought ,,brendo ... thanks for the reply

I've been playing these guitars since 1980 both for fun and as a profession! My Strat hangs on a hook in my lads' bedroom - I have Matsumoku or Chushin Gakki guitars to do those jobs...

The build quality on even the budget models is astonishing - my Westone Spectrum ST is an entry level guiatr and is built as well as my neck thru, all singing, all dancing Vantage X-99....

on an interestnig note I have two mahogany neck through ash body sss "canora " strats ..both incredible ..think they may be Suzuki builds .. have a canora neck through p bass and It is probably matsu as it is identical to the westone ,,and also an absolutely gorgeous tobacco burst ash body Quest Hollow body ES 335 .( has Gotoh pickups )
