Help identifying please...!!!

So Im fairly new to Westone ownership. Had friends that had them through the years and know several models... HOWEVER...
This is for sale locally.

Ive already made an offer and am waiting for confirmation and meeting day/time.

After MUCH searching, I have NOT found another EXACTLY like it...

Ive found the Special X250... that says only available in black with the Bendmaster trem... this one being pearl white and string thru...
Appears to be an '86 model from the serial #...

Any help with what this is would be appreciated!!

I think you have already correctly ID'd this as the Pantera X250 Special.

The only variation from what we currently know is the colour which was not an unusual thing for Matsumoku to do. They are infamous for changing specs and adding finish variations without announcements. It isn't unusual to find unexpected burst finishes for example.

White was a popular colour in the Pantera line so it makes sense that they would have slipped  a few out! I wouldn't lose any sleep over this. You'll have a well made instrument and an unusual version to boot.

Cool! Thanks for the info! I recently found an 84 Lipstick red Dynasty locally... grabbed it for $80! Got an offer I couldnt refuse after posting on a forum so I no longer have that one... this is coming for $100 in a cheap hard case. Wasnt about to let it get by!!
