Need help identifying my guitar?
I'm new to this forum, so before I get to my question, I may as well introduce myself!
Hello everyone! My name is JP Grenier from New-Brunswick, Canada. I bought a sweet Westone from someone about 8 months ago that I still don't know exactly what it is. I have been on this site a few times before and browsed through the gallery and I just can't find the exact model I have. I'm pretty sure it's a Corsair but I can't find another one with the same configuration as mine.
Some basic info about the guitar: H/S/S Pickups (not sure what kind), Bendmaster Deluxe Bridge, 22 fret neck. Locking nut is not original. When I bought it, the nut blocks were missing and since original Westone parts are impossible to find, I replaced the entire locking nut with one for a Floyd Rose.
I'll attach a few pictures for you guys to look at and maybe you could help me identify what model it is exactly! And before you ask, the stripes on my guitar is just electrical tape lol. I tried to make it look like a Stryper guitar and it was a pretty shabby job.
I look forward to hearing from someone with any info and I hope to make some new friends in the forum!

Re: Need help identifying my guitar?
Pretty sure it's a Spectrum III XA1330. Looks like it's in decent shape, as well.
Spectrum III Description
I have a Spectrum II XA1230. Aside from only having two knobs as opposed to three, as well as the inclusion of a coil tapping switch, mine looks very similar to yours. Mine even has electrical tape stripes too... One of these days I'll get around to posting a picture of it.
Nice guitar you've got. How does it sound?

Re: Need help identifying my guitar?
Thanks for the reply, your information was very helpful. I could have sworn it was a Corsair but that just shows how much I know lol. As for how it sounds, well... I'm just a casual player, no virtuoso by any means, and I only have a 15 watt amp right now with a Behringer ultra distortion pedal, but it sounds pretty damn good. Harmonics are awesome, good crunch, and dive-bombs on the bendmaster dlx trem are... the bomb lol. Even with the non-standard locking nut I put on it, it never goes out of tune!
Again, thanks for the reply and the info! I look forward to seeing your guitar as well!
