ISO Bendmaster setup videos
Has anyone made or seen a well-filmed setup of the beloved/hated Bendmasters (FT or Deluxe)?
Re: ISO Bendmaster setup videos
I've not had any issues with any of the Mats' trems. (note that's tremolo bridge, NOT that God awful barrel saddle thingy). A trem setup is pretty much the same on most guitars, string versus spring balancing act.
Are you experiencing grief? Corsair is the bridge expert.

Thanks, Barry... re-watched several Floyd Rose setups again. I need practice (and to remember to stretch strings)
Re: ISO Bendmaster setup videos
Atta boy!
"Stretching" the strings really refers to applying enough manual pull on the string so the windings on the post (primary) settle in nice and snug. That prevents their slipping and going flat when you're trying to tune up.
And just a quick note about the locking plates: Do not over tighten them or you'll end up with mini-guillotines. Or worse, you'll strip the bolt threads. These only need to be snug, not vise-like! Over tightening can also make the tuning go sharp, so you're undoing all your previous efforts.
It's the plate that does the work, not the bolt. Tighten until you feel some light resistance. That's all it needs.
