Paduak for sale - offers

No connection to me, other than it's for sale on a forum I spend too much time on!
As per title. 
Guy on Fretboard forum has a Paduak. Doesn't know what to ask, and has put a high figure in the ad, to stay within forum rules, which specify all ads MUST have a price. They're a good bunch of guys, generally, on there. So, if you fancy a Paduak - go talk to the guy:

It's always been a head scratcher to me that the prominent feature of this guitar is the wood top, Padauk, but the guitar model was marketed as Paduak.
The wood is even listed as Paduak on the flyer description. 

Was this originally a typo that "stuck"? Or a deliberate marketing change to make it sound more palatable to the ear?

I couldn't hazard a guess Barry, but one thing is for sure, I'll have pics by the weekend

Yes I would imagine so, but more than likely I'd be playing it unplugged in the lounge, not annoying the wife or kids.

Cardinal has been on my unofficial and undisclosed (to my wife!) list for a long time now. As it happens, one has finally turned up locally. It's red, a single pup, very cute. But seller wants CDN$350 for it, a bit high.

Probably a moot point though since I am tapped out after the Holidays. I actually prefer this model in trans blue although it doesn't make sense relative to the name.

A friend of mine has a single pup Cardinal in trans blue.
It's not a total minter but all there.
Could have a word Barry??

See the single pup never gets a mention in the catalogues

Protomatic V's I believe but are marked 45 apparently.

Has a factory treble bleed fitted.

MMK 45's  10.9 + 11.7  N/B
Sound brighter than Thunder 45's with the treble bleed.Although the bone nut and steel saddles help. No idea what magnets are in there not taking them apart... no need.

Any thoughts of buying this have to be binned, at least for the forseeable future, something divine from my wanted list has presented itself(non mats)

After a fret dress and set up he's decided to keep it for now.
I'm not keen on the red myself... Sounds great though!

Trans red is quite nice on these, if there isn't an ikea chopping board  underneath
