pickup ring... Empty pickup ring...

OK, my little crew of miscreants... I'm on the bludge...

Who's got a pickup ring with the dimensions 88.84 x 45.19 x 6.0/4.05mm - colour immaterial - that they'd be willing to pass on to me?? I need one for my Avenger project and don't really want to have to buy two...

I think I have something you can use mate. When I restored the Aria Pro II Urchin I wanted to change the hardware to chrome from black.

Initially I sprayed painted the originals with "chrome" paint which was just OK looking. I ended up putting in real chrome plated rings so I still have the originals if you want 'em, painted and all. Laughing

I think you should just buy 2....it would make me me feel better. I had to buy 3 S/C covers when I adapted my Strat (only needed 1). Not only that but when I came to do it I realised I had put them "somewhere safe" so had to buy another pack. I asked the guy in the shop if I could return the unused pack when(if) I found them which I did on Monday and have never had such a struggle to get a £3.50 refund from a shop even though the bloke had said I could return them. They did it in the end. Even worse the bloody things don't fit.

Life sucks sometimes........then you start customising guitars!

Sorry, the only extra ring I have is:
88.85 x 45.18 x 6.01/4.04mm

Just off by .01mm in each dimension. Tough luck.
