Dimension IV
Hi!
I have a Dimension IV - It is black and in perfect condition. Everything on guitar is original and I also have the original hardshell case.
I have had it for almost 20 years now and have only played it out once or twice. I know it's a screamer but I just have never really used it and would love to find a new appreciative home for it - let me know if you are still interested in getting one.

Hey Bob, can we see some pics of your Dim IV? What is the serial from the back of the headstock?

Dimension IV
I'm hovering around the 600 area...... - it's a killer guitar and in perfect shape and there aren't many of them around. I actually hate to get rid of it but I just don't use it (I'm more of a Les Paul kinda guy)

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
Hello and welcome Bhoose and Mxxxpower.
Nice Dimension you have there Bhoose.
Could I ask you guys to conduct any wheeling and dealing via the private messaging service on the forums rather than discussing any details of a potential sale within the thread?
Thanks and Good Luck to you both!

Dimension IV
Hi -
I came across your question while looking for info on the Westone
Dimension IV because in a week or so I'm going to be selling a brand
new one (due to very unfortunate circumstances, it was played for only
a few hours in total, and since 1985 it's been in its hard case in the
corner of the bedroom) on eBay in the UK. If you are interested in one
of these guitars (mine is the off-white with the red bolt), or know anyone who is, email me and I will let you
know when I post the ad.

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
What's the difference between my message about a guitar for sale and other people's messages on here about buying or selling? If you're going to moderate, please try to be less patronising, act like an adult instead of a 12-year-old who's been asked to look after something, and generally stop acting like an asshole

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
I have no idea how old you exactly are, but you should have already learned not to offend people in a forum...
Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
Paul, considering the forum rules are to make any personal deals through PMs, none of us here have any idea if you've gotten any offers or not. Besides that, there seem to be a lot of people wanting that specific model right now, so how is it offensive for multiple examples being sold to be posted? Calm down.

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
The difference is that you are actively negotiating a sale publicly in the "Wanted" forum, which is the wrong place and not in accordance with the forum rules. The other post is simply a link to an off site seller (eBay in this case). Technically it should have appeared in the eBay, etc. forum but the member was being courteous in providing a lead to obtain the requested guitar which otherwise may not have been seen.Paul2010 wrote:What's the difference between my message about a guitar for sale and other people's messages on here about buying or selling?
Exactly. Heed your own words....act like an adult instead of a 12-year-old..

Might I just ask, to whom are you calling an asshole?
If by any chance you are referring to me, since I am the Moderator on these forums, I would suggest that,
A: You apologise because you did not mean to be rude as you were suffering from PMT at the time...
B: Don't bother posting in the forums if you can't abide by the rules.
As Barry so rightly pointed out, you posted in the wrong forum and any sales should be conducted through the PM service, thus adhering to the forum rules.
I will not tolerate rudeness or blatant flouting of the forum rules under any circumstances and if necessary, I will have offending members removed from the forums.
I hope this clarifies matters for you.

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
In answer to your question, yes I was calling you an asshole. And no I won't apologise, because it was neither an error nor a misjudgemet. Nor will I be posting or reading anything else on (or even revisiting) this pathetic excuse for a forum for adults (not schoolchildren) to exchange point of view, information etc without having some jumped-up schoolmistress wagging haer finger and tut-tutting "naughty, naughty" when someone steps 'out of line'.
And for all the other people who post and read here, don't forget to eat all your vegetables, be in bed before 10pm, say your prayers every night and don't use horrible, deeply offensive words like 'damn' 'bloody' and 'guitar for sale'.
Cheers everyone. Sleep well. Rock and... er...roll!

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
There's no substitute for manners at the dinner table, and no excuse for not following the posted rules of etiquette that you agreed to when you signed up for a public forum.
Good riddance to a self-important, over indulgent, spoiled little brat.

Re: Looking for a Dimension 4
What a complete prick! Nothing like throwing all your toys out the pram, eh.
All you had to do was put your guitar in the "For Sale" section. If you were replying to the original post here in the "Wanted" section either private message the guy, or at least say what you got here and point people in the direction of your ad in the "For Sale" section and leave it at that.
As for the rules, if potential sellers and buyers want to talk money ("I want $$$ much, $$$ is my final offer"...etc) as the rules state it should be done away from public view. It's the same for phone numbers, addresses or meeting places. It's not difficult to get your head around is it.
Taking the piss out of the moderators because you don't like the rules (the rules you agreed to when you signed up!) is completely out of order, keep your hissy fit to yourself and disappear if you don't like it.
Anyway, good luck with the childish foot stamping temper tantrum problem you clearly have, now get your head out of your ass and rock off somewhere else, you won't be missed.
DAN.

OMG!
What a pathetic excuse for a human being, good riddance to him! We don't need idiots like that around these forums! If I was ever to come face to face with this guy, I would take great delight in shoving his extremely pointy guitar up his pompous little ass!
Thanks to all of you as well for your support, it means one hell of a lot to me that I have you all there on my side - you are the best!
Thanks chaps! I love you all!

Do just apologise Mr.Paul 2010
If you are a real man with some manners and some attitude just write another post and apologise.
Especially to Polly.
I'm utterly disappointed with your behaviour.
Best regards to the rest of the crazy bunch.

Thank you Hendrik,
That guy had the worst case of PMT that I have ever seen!
He won't be coming back to write any apologies either... It was with great delight and satisfaction that I hit the 'Block this Member' button on his profile! Good riddance to bad rubbish!
What I don't understand is, what sort of kick do these people get by doing this kind of thing??? I'm a well educated and intelligent adult but this type of behaviour is totally beyond my comprehension!!!
Thanks again to the rest of you guys.
All of you are what makes these forums the success that they are and I am honoured to be a part of such a united family!
THANK YOU

Westone Dimension IV
I have one for sale on eBay now (white with red lightning bold, plus original hard case), sale ending in a couple of days.
It's virtually brand new, played for just a few hours before spending the past 25 years in it's case in a cupboard.
Take a look here:
