Re: Bendmaster Tremolo Deluxe? How to adjust pickup height???
Are you wanting to adjust the bridge or the pickups?
If you mean the bridge, yes you raise or lower it using the two anchor bolts.
If you mean the pickups, each one has two screws, one on either side located in between the coils which raise and lower either side.
Adjust your neck relief first using the truss rod.
Then set the string height (action) using the bridge (approx .100" on the bass E to approx .080 on the treble E measured at the 12th fret)
Adjust the pickup height relative to the strings until you get the optimum tone and volume output (use your ears for that!)

Thank you for your advise and expertise.
I want to adjust saddle height. The strings are height is not where it needs to be. The A string is too low so I would guess shimming up that saddle is the only option.

Bendmaster Deluxe saddles are graded.
3 different sizes.
The taller two for D-G strings.
The next size for A-B strings.
The smaller size for E-E strings.
Are you sure yours are in the correct order?

Ah, that's yet another partTFi2397856 wrote:...I want to adjust saddle height...
Saddles are easily adjusted up or down using the small set screws on either side of the saddle. Do not shim them.
Be sure to check Westbone's advice first.
p.s. If the saddles have not be adjusted in a long time the screws may be tight or seized.
Don't force them, try a shot of penetrating oil first

I think you may be right about the saddle deal. Somebody might have mix up the low E and the A and the high E with the B.
Parts for these don't seem to exist so if someone has an old beater I can use for parts let me know.
Anything I should know before moving saddles around??

Yeah... the saddles on a Bendmaster Deluxe are radiused to match the neck radius, roughly-roughly, so make sure they're in the right places!!
I've never had to shim a BD saddle yet... touch wood!
