Old Ibanez... Empty Old Ibanez...

Post by corsair Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:59 pm

Out at Yengarie looking at a couple of old cases and it turns out that the seller has a lot of old musical gear that he's selling on behalf of his father, who has shifted into a retirement complex here in the Bay.

This caught my eye as it wouldn't take much to make it sparkle again and I don't think I've ever seen one quite this old and ornate...

... he had other stuff as well but nothing that really grabbed me...oh, apart from an old Electa Ganjo which I wanted SO bad I could taste it; alas - it was not to be as the chap wanted to keep them!!
No Matsumoku stuff, but he did sell a US Fender Princeton amp for $A50...

It wasn't for sale, Damian; he wants to tidy it up for his dad. It's just very dirty and the binding is all cracked and discoloured but; golly; it's pretty!
Mid 70s, you say?

That has to be the most ornate LP I have ever seen.
Looks like it really wants to be big jazz box or sumthin'  scratch
Really grows on you though.
