Did any single coil Westone models have a coil tap?

I was browsing the local ads and came across a Granada branded Aria 1802T. It's a 2 single coil pup guitar with a very kewl tremolo design coupled with a roller bridge. In nice condition too: LINK

The seller mentions that it has a coil tap switch which I wasn't aware that Aria was doing. Since this was a Mats guitar I wondered if Westone ever produced anything with that particular wiring. Anyone know?

So it just switches a capacitor in and out?

Yeah, that makes more sense to me Damian. I wouldn't think you'd find a labour intensive piece of electronics in a white label brand like this.

I had a nice email chat with the seller. Turns out yes, it is more of a tone defeat type of circuit. He confesses to not being an electronics guy and was only speculating about its being a coil tap.

He is though, a huge Mats fan and claims to have basement full of Granada, Vantage, and Aria Pro! Unfortunately he's a long way from me so the chances of getting together are very slim. Oh, and he's been a "lurker" both here and at the Mats forums and turns to the learned folk here for purchasing guidance. Poor sod!
