Westbury track 4 kill switch
Hello people.
Would anyone know how I would wire in a kill switch on my westbury bass? It has 2 humbuckers, one volume one tone ana the pick up selector.
On my Westones I use the active on off for a kill, and as there are no battery's in it it's perfect!
I've heard you can't just break the signal out wire for some reason, and as it will be used on stage it has to operate silently.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Westbury track 4 kill switch
Just take the easy route & roll the volume off if you need to change guitars, or is that me being too obvious?
I guess if you have your bass set to particular volume level, it might make it less practical - mine's always all the way up when I'm playing, so I don't need to worry about that...

Re: Westbury track 4 kill switch
Thanks for that, looks like I could do that mod myself.
And I like to just flick a switch and leave the volume where it is, just a 30 year habit.
And my volume is always "about" half way, then I have somewhere to go if 11 is called for.

Take your pick. Just shorting your hot wire to earth/common.
