Weston or Westone??? Looks like Unknown model #6 on the resource site
About an hour from me... This looks like the westone.info website's "Unknown model #6", but with different pickups and an extra knob. Very odd - headstock says "Weston" with a registration mark after the 'n' - it is NOT a modified 'e'.

MIK, but to my eye, does not appear to have the same build quality as the one in OUR website.
The missing "e" is very odd. Wonder what's going on there.

1.
The markings on the pick-ups, what are they?
Not Sid Poole or Dan Armstrong.
2.
Different headstock shape too.
3.
Can retrieve a Registered Trademark?
4.
I for one, don't consider it a Westone, because it doesn't say so!
5..
What's wrong with the placing of the tuners of the unidentified no 6 anyway?
Makes me wonder...
Too many questions?
Well, one thing for sure, I think you'll agree, it's definitely not a Matsumoku!
Ain't Japanese either, must be Korean build at least, that's to say if it happened at all! Whatever the claim.
What they were thinking is quite another story.
All I want to say really is, trademarked or not: Have you downloaded your logo today?

I don't think it is worth the 60 mile drive for... just an oddity I thought I would share.

The pickup markings say 'Weston R'jim wrote:1.

There's nothing wrong with the placing of the tuners position on model no 6 or model no.3. I have both and they're fine. No 6 is a locking nut anyway. Both of these were made by Samick.
i bought this guitar
I bought it for $120, asking price was $250. I'll change the battery tomorrow and see if it'll make sound then. It definitely says Weston. On pickups, backplate, and headstock. I personally really like it, the action is high compared to my corona, cali fender but not unplayable at all. I just like the look. There was a little buzzing by the bridge but it went away on its own. Feels good bends feel rly good. I think its the same string length from bridge to head as my fender strat but the neck has like a inch more room.
I'm really happy about the purchase and I love that I can't find another one like it. But please if you know anything or have any questions I'm all ear.

Hey USAFender - Are you in the Gator Nation or somewhere else? I am in Jacksonville and started this thread. There is a 335-style Electra for sale down there, too.

Yep that pawn shop is directly across from where I work. I thought the guitar looked good like a mysterious dark haired vixen. It continues to confuse and intrigue me.
