Restringing, "locking" your strings
John and Damien's discussion of locking tuners made me think about this.
If you don't have locking tuners, this is a good method to "lock" your stings for better tuning stability. There are other methods, but this is what I use and it's near flawless.
Here's a shot of my Electra Endorser strung in a "locking" fashion (a 10-52 set):

Yep... that's the one I use, though I've used all sorts over the years! The only (slight) drawback to the above method is string changing on the fly is a little more awkward to achieve quickly...

I never break strings so it's always worked well for me. And it only takes and extra 3 seconds per string (or less)!
Could be worse, could be like BB King and wind the entire string on the peg.
