Just ridden motorcycle to Corsica and back taking in a bit of Italy, the Alps, Luxembourg, Belgium and a lot of France. Stayed off toll roads except for a bit where we had to catch up mileage after some problems.
Cant play guitar yet again as my hands are fooked (as Westbone would say).

And Id like to cross America on a Harley, right through the middle, none of this route 66 stuff.

Was asked if I was interested in filling in on bass for a band last
night, 1-2 gigs pw, 3 month stint. Hmmm, haven't gigged in earnest for about 30 years and that's a big commitment.Thinking

Game on, this runs through the festive season so that will be a shock to the system. Boxing day and NY eve.

You see Greg, Barry was on the original Woodstock bill and he still appreciates the whole live music thing.

Barry tells me that he sold more hot dogs on a single day at that festival, than he did in the rest of career, despite all that sh*t noise coming from the likes of Alvin Lee, Hendrix and the Who.

Their poop noise was nothing. The poor suffering punters have a whole new level to depreciate.

Just been fired before having a chance to play with them. The singer went and asked a former bass player to play who has recently been let out. Many 10s or more of hours learning 30+ song setlist.
