Rare Westone for sale on Gumtree (not mine)

Hi all,

Found this when looking the net. Maybe it is of interest for anyone here? Anyone knows anything about this model?
Looks strange, like an Aria Pro II TS model but with a text of Westone on the head.

That is what I thought as well when seeing it. Have never seen anyone like it before.

Fret markers are virtually identical to my Skylark 2588, as is the neck design, rotary chickenhead and mini-switches. Also closely mimics an Oakland model I chased after a couple years back, but on that one the bouts were not offset.

Cross-branded Mats almost certainly, Aria TS is a very astute and likely correct conclusion.

Yes, it is very identical with an Aria Pro II. Must be a rare piece then I believe! When looking around some more I found this...

It doesn't even look in a much worse condition and has a case (for sending). It is also a Japanese seller!: LINK I didn't even take in account shipping & taxes. I'll have to confess I never played one. Nice guitar but too much dough IMHO. Both that is.

I've also never seen that Westone before with a black headstock. Oh well... Changes.
Just for comparison. The 3x3 Aria TS series black 'typical' '79 headstock The TS 400 seems to have a lot in common with this Westone. And here with just another different electronic lay out 3x3 from '82 here . Over the top prices asked these days!
