Rainbow 11
Nice looking rainbow ii on the bay, BUT no tailstop and it looks like the tuners were put on in the dark.

Yeah it's approx 74mm so quite a bit shorter than an average Gibson type which are about 82mm. I'm starting to worry about the bridge on my Rainbow 1 now

Re: Rainbow 11
Personally that's the way I'd go, as per the recent discussions re the P150 with missing bridge.
I think it would be almost worthwhile getting someone to make a copy for a guitar as good as the rainbow 11
Wonder how much it'll go for, was really surprised by the £352 for the concord recently.

Re: Rainbow 11
The most recent Rainbow 2 of mine actually had a tail piece. It was the bridge that was missing. I had to remove the old bridge anchor ferrules as they are too small in diameter to take any suitable bridges I could find.
I opened up the holes, fitted new ferrules and put on a generic gold Nashville style bridge.
I personally would probably just use Damian's dodge of shaving the hooks on a Les Paul stop bar.

Re: Rainbow 11
It's the shape of them.
Rising up in the middle. One good bump and they crack at the weakest point. ie. A+B string slots. They're pretty thin anyway.
Nice looking stop bar but.....

Re: Rainbow 11
You can buy a bridge hoax, Schaller do a direct replacement. Goes straight on and looks almost as the original.
