P250 on ebay

On the bay. Bit of work will be needed to get this sorted. I wonder what that pick guard is hiding. Looks like the kind of project that someone with a translucent blue pantera could do wonders with.

Got to finish off that collection graham. Have you seen the p150 on there as well, from one of our forum members.

Looks like a fun project, but I couldn't pay shipping overseas and make it worth it. It has a great top on it though, could look really nice eh.

I am also watching the P150. That's the trouble with collections - There is no such thing as "finishing them off"

Got caught by my wife with the Postman the other day (Not in the Biblical sense - of course!!)

He is delivering a guitar and he shouts "Thought that you were finished with guitars then?"

In a whisper, I reply - "Yeah - It's now one in one out" which my wife overhears and says

" Yeah - My Arse!!" which means for those who are not from UK "I don't think that you are being truthful, accurate, etc

Graham, that p150 looks the biz, shame about the bridge but it must be possible to do something. Don't you have a mate who's into metalwork who could knock something up which would fit the existing stud positions. It would be a pity if it had to be re-drilled. If you're going for it good luck, don't think you'll regret it.

I would take either or both, but it all depends on price. I reckon I could fix the stop bar on the 150 or make/modify another.

The little lady has got wind of the fact that the collection is still growing so I am making a concerted effort to move some of my "for profit projects" which are the funding basis for my own collection.

Anyhow, anyone else on here is welcome to chase these guitars and may the best man win.

I am not one of the types who thinks that by declaring an interest on this forum that others should step aside.

Rubbing alcohol will easily dissolve marker pen without damaging the finish. It's a tip I've posted before (and actually used on a resto) but it's worth highlighting it again for new members who may not have heard of it before.

Unfortunately, as westcoaster says, in this case it's lacquered over, so not quite as simple a removal.

Who cares about the back, that thing is freakin' gorgeous!!!

£346+loose change, here's hoping that there's nothing nasty under that sticker and pick guard. At the end of the day though, if everything else is ok it's not a bad price for one hell of a gigging guitar, wouldnt be too worried about getting a ding on it anyway. Would love to see some real pics of it.
