I have no idea about the Corsair, but I can say that my AER300 has the thinnest neck I have ever come across. I would doubt that they are the same though, as the AER/WER necks were built to Trev's liking.

That would make sense.

Right, right. haha Sorry if the post came across in a "this-is-obvious" attitude way. That certainly wasn't my intent. Just offering my insight as one of the few with an AER/WER.

Hey, no. I wasn't taking it that way at all.
Just agreeing with you is all.

Hmm....I've never played one of these so I cannot comment. But have owned 5 total X-390 Panteras and they do not have thin necks. They are wide, flat, and fill the hand.
Now Jackson Dinkys and Soloists - those have thin necks. And the Ibanez Wizard is a thin neck.
Generally, I fatigue quickly on the thinnest necks. They're fast, but I just can't play them that long without cramping up. Thicker necks are often not as fast for me, but I do not fatigue nearly as quickly on them. The X-390 Panteras are unique to me in that they are not thin but they are extremely fast. TP has given us some information about the complex geometry involved. He's a smart guy and his necks are to die for. My favorite guitar of the past few years is a Warmoth custom VW body with a short scale boat neck. The neck is chunky and is a joy to chord and riff with. And soloing is easy too, although not quite as effortless as with the X-390 or Jackson Soloist for that matter. The Warmoth neck is mahogany with macassar ebony fingerboard, 6150 fret wire, and 12-16" compound radius and a great level, crown and polish

Well! Thanks for the insight into the X390 necks. As a hopeful future owner, it helps. It does seem odd that the X390 neck and his signature neck would be so far off since his was based on the X390. However, I'm glad to hear that while they aren't thin, they are quick. I have smaller hands than any other guitarist I know, which led to my preference of quicker, thinner necks.

So far I own a Trev Sig and a x275 and the Trev has a lusicious, thin neck ( a shredders dream...just shy of the wizard type necks that Ibanez has made..thats just Paper thin to me!)
the 275 has a chunky neck...much bigger than the TRSig..and I like the TRS sooo much better...hence my other thread about a serious modification to make it into a TR sig.
so far no one hears seems to have any dimensions for the necks...dammit. There ought to be a chart!!!! (scale, no of frets, dimensions at nut, dimensions at 12 fret, 24 fret etc etc)
I suspect Westone did this all with CAD cam...or robotic lathes..so there must have been settings.
