Westone Neck wanted

Hello again,

I am looking for a Westone neck to fit a Clipper CL4112 series, 6 aside. Measurements are; 57mm at the neck joint, 25mm deep. It doesn't have to be from the same type of guitar just so long as the measurements are the same and that it can take a locking nut.

Good luck, bluesman - I've finally got mine to the "play it really, really loudly" stage and, to no-ones' REAL surprise, it is a fine guitar; very, very tele-like, with quite a wide sound palette. It had no nut and the fingerboard was lifting when I got it so I'm glad to have rescued it and made it a player as I am a closet Tele-nut (my very first guitar was a '58 Tele!), but I think these Westones, and the Electras, are a much more versatile guitar!
I wonder if the Corsair or Challenger necks would fit? There was a wrecked Corsair on one of the auction sites not long ago with a good neck...

Is your neck not fixable at all; I mean look at the job X189player took on here...

Thanks corsair, its a splintered break with no hope; I'm thinking about putting an early Jackson/Charvel or Kramer neck on her until I find a Clipper neck, just so I can get her up and running; I imagine they'll be easier to find. I've had a couple of Tele's in the past and they are great blues guitars, there is a few gaps in their versatility that the Clipper overcomes. Anyway thanks again mate, best wishes, Stephen

I agree, Stephen - they 'tick' all of the Tele boxes and add a few of their own!! Hey, the other place you may want to keep an eye on is 'craigslist' in the US - I haven't got the URL but it should Google up OK!

Thanks again Corsair, I tried a Fender Tele neck on the Clipper and its fits, however I would need to rout out 4 impressions for the neck bolts so I think I'll wait (I gave the neck to my wife and she is set on making a pink Telecaster!- thats bloody sinful!) Thanks again, best wishes Stephen

i have a 1982 electra phoenix neck.. no nut.. wasnt locking.. has two holes for string hold downs.. but it is in good shape.. has extra screw holes in it.. i bought it as a electra guitar but the body was a cheap plywood thing someone had cut the body to fit the neck then drill extra holes in the neck to make it fit.. never buy ebay with a blurry picture.. has a cream color headstock.. number is 2122526.. has an "f" on the back bottom side inked in (factory mark looking).. and a lil dinger near the heal.. but i dont need it... i live in kansas usa..

I don't know if you are still looking for a neck or not. There is a Trevor Rabin Series Pantera neck on Ebay right now. I not sure of the measurements but good luck in your search.
