Westone Thunder with Fender Jazz neck
While I had the body and the neck handy here's a few photos.
The necks a nice tight fit . This is a genuine Fender Jazz neck from a '62 reissue model.

A slight gap, slight. With very little work it would be perfect but still very stable as is.

So if you had a westone body this is one neck that would fit and is readily available
Westone necks(well the one which was on the body) measured 63.3mm at the widest point of the neck pocket.
60.4 at the narrowest and 27.5 in height, including the fingerboard. Give or take a few coats of lacquer.

Yeah, I was headed this way - fretless - until you threw in an original Westy. Good to know its been tried. Was going to buy one off a mate but he has so many guitars and parts he couldnt find the neck in question.

The neck in the photo has no lacquer at all. It's brand new. It is a very good fit as is, firm.

Re: Westone Thunder with Fender Jazz neck
Hi. Question? How did this fender neck on the Westone Thunder Bass work out? Surely the 12th fret ends up in a different place? Did you have to move the bridge forward - AND maybe the pickup in order to retain the sweet spot?

Re: Westone Thunder with Fender Jazz neck
It's the same scale, same frets. Just need to set the intonation...
