i don't think that is an XLR output, i think it looks like a jackplate used to cover up damage to the wood around the original output jack.

In the catalog it has a retangle shape, this is square, so you might be right!

noobie has placed 100% of those bids with this same seller
noobie has ZERO feedback, ZERO, none, a noobie that doesn't buy something/anything?

anybody else think something fishy 'bout dat?

Yeah, noobie is up to no good, Sucks don't it and there's nothing you can do apart from bid higher.

To be honest they're not that good a guitar.Well made.
I've had one for years and it sounds like shirt(-r) Do not like the actives or the 25.5" scale on these. The scale gives them a totally different kind of sound. Not that good in my opinion.
Give me a normal Thunder I or II(set neck) anyday.

That seller needs called out, can't stand that dishonesty.

just to give EBay a little credit here,

anyone can see what is happening on this auction because EBay has provide plenty of ways for a motivated buyer to be aware.

they have tools anyone can use to be as informed as one can be about the item, the seller, the others bidding in the auction, without divulging personal information about those involved. the auction process remains largely anonymous, but the buyers and sellers gain a certain level of protection against fraud.

only one time has any ebay seller failed on me, and the buyer protection system worked perfectly. EBay forced a refund to me, from a seller who never responded even once after i won a guitar in their auction, over $300. at the time of the auction, they had only 1 negative feedback so i wrote it off as a grumpy buyer. but then shortly after my winning bid, they had about 5 other auctions that went bad too. something went wrong with the seller. but in the end, EBay did get me my money back.

the tools they provide have helped me identify at least 2 other "auctions" i got interested in, to be scams, and i got out before being ripped off.
