Stick in a treble bleed capacitor on your volume pots and you will be able to roll off volume without making things even darker.

hey hoax, you were right, just installed the treble bleed cap.....actually I doubled up and slapped 2 in there...makes a huge difference!

happy camper now! its just about ready to find a new caring home
