Really? For those who know nothing about the Rainbow - i.e. me! - , would you expand on that a little? Because at first glance, it looks pretty much like a 335 clone....

Re: New Trevor Rabin album
Assistance please from you gear savvy folks. I looked this up and it says it's a Westone 335 . I am confused. Help and clarification is appreciated.

Especially the early Rainbows that had the same horns (mickey mouse ears I think someone said here). it was spot on Gibby with a westone headstock. I'd love to have one of those.

335 is a model of Gison ES guitars, but 335 is also used to reference the "style" of those guitars.
You could also see an add that says "Westone Strat", but it isn;t a strat, it is just a strat style guitar.
In your link it has a Gibson bridge, but can't tell what it is without a pic of the headstock. Maybe a Rainbow (which is the same style as a 335) with a Gibson bridge. The bridge on this guitar is certainly a replacement.

Re: New Trevor Rabin album
So... Gibson doesn't do that? I had a 335 about a million years ago and I truly cannot recall what the internal architecture was like...
What's the advantage?

OK, I'm wrong. They're built basically the same way.
