This is one of John's must haves...

Westone Raider

So if you want it John, I'll do the business end for you. Come on, you NEED a new guitar, don't you?! Suspect

Interestingly this thing says Raider II on the headstock with the old looking logo, so it's and early one. It should be a Raider I for all the info we have in print. It's a good looker anyway! Very Happy

Seriously, I'll do it no problem. My Wife and I have shipped internationally to the UK before, we just do it through the United States Postal Service. Unless you'd want to do FedEx or something, doesn't matter. My zip code is 17112 if you'd want to check shipping charges from us to you before pulling the trigger. I remember you saying you liked these!

Are you sure that isn't just a big stylized roman numeral I, Chad? It doesn't necessarily match the font, but it doesn't match if it's a II anyway. It could be either considering the picture quality.

I don't know, I'd emailed the seller to tell him it's a Raider I, but he responded and said that "it says Raider II on the headstock", and it does have the fretboard inlays that the Raider II has, the triangular type. scratch I don't know!

It's a Raider I; the IIs didn't come in the 2 tone schemes, As far as I recall, and it's probably an 83, as the single p'up design wa 83 only.

I want this SO bad I can taste it.....

That's what I thought too, I don't know how this thing says Raider II. :?: scratch Maybe it's because it's an early model, we know that there were surprises with early models. Whatever the deal, she's a looker. afro

There is a distinct possibility that a cohort of ours over at the Electra Forum won this. Checking into it at the moment...

Right on the trail as well Arthur!

I figured a cross-post would be in order if and when JB decides to give it up...

Apologies if this is not exactly what you were after, but was looking around on uk ebay and there is currently a mint silver Raider I up for grabs in the UK. I'll try and link it but me and technology don't generally get on!

And before anyone asks, no it's not mine and the £295 starting price is a bit steep in my opinion.

Thanks for posting that one, PDS.... Yeah; a lot over-priced, I reckon! However, I cannot help myself so will watch list it!!!
