Coil-splitting/Magnaflux replacement pickups?
Where can I find pickups similar to the Magnaflux ones on a 1985 Spectrum LX? I know pretty much nothing about coil splitting/tapping. Don't pickups need to be specially configured to allow this? Would it be easy enough to modify some normal humbuckers for coil splitting?

Hi "Joe". Back in the day, coil splitting a humbucker was something different, even revolutionary, and Uncle Mats was one of the leading promoters of this option. These days it seems to be almost the norm. Almost all modern humbucker designs allow for this use. Assuming you still have the original pots all you need is the pup, and this schematic:
