Westone Guitars Germany

Just wondered if anyone has one (or more) of the guitars produced by the german Westone company and if so what are they like?

A poor reflection on German ideals of quality. Cheap junk manufactured in China or Indonesia or wherever. They have no place on this forum other than to point out what junk can look like.

IMHO.

Yeah; Chinese or Indonesian copies of BC Rich, Gibson and Fender marketed through Germany. I don't have one, and don't know of anyone who does so cannot comment on the build quality but I'd be prepared to bet it isn't up to Matsumoku standards!!

Picked one up at a second hand store a coupla months back and it was not good. Very cut rate on the corners cut even. Just plain bad once you've held the real deal.

The earlier ones with just the 'bird' logo are crap. BC Rich copies ect.
The newer type ones from Germany but made elsewhere ???? are not to bad. Played a Tele copy the other day, Wilkinson hardwear and not a bad finish at all, sound ok as well. Nothing original though. Just a Tele copy. Played worse.

Yeah the one I had in hand was a Mockingbird copy. Thoroughly cr@p as you said WB.

No experience with anything newer. And BTW when I said picked up I mean ONLY that, I picked it up. It was put down about 5 minutes or so later.

Ugh!!
