I am looking for a trio of Switchmaster knobs to get my '84 Electra Westone x185 back to OEM.

I have been informed that while not impossible this request is standing just to the left of impossible. But ask I shall. If no one has any OR if anybody happens across any online and has no interest I will. Please PM if willing, able or ....

Thanks all. cheers

No worries, old bean!! Laughing Good luck with the hunt!! Smile This is for the Phoenix, yes? I'm reasonably convinced that they didn't have the tapered ones, eh; just normal speed knobs...

A long shot, but has anyone ever found out where "Thorn" (David Blair) had his repro's made? Seems to me there's a (small) market for these unique knobs.

Electras used notched speed knobs, and that's probably what your Electra-Westone had. I remember someone on the Electra forums found someone who sold them (or something very close) on eBay.

Yes Warrn that link is here...

I will most likely pick up some there. I guess I was confused as to tapered or not. Seeing as how tapered ones appear to be rare as a hen's tooth, these will have to suffice. The chrome knurls on it now are serving the purpose but just come off as kinda' cheesy looking to me somehow.

I tend to visit the Westone forum before the Electra one, so of course as soon as I went over there I saw you'd found it already. Hooray for being slow. Laughing
