Concord H-III on eBay
This looks like a real bargain for someone who can tolerate orange sparkle !
I'm very tempted to buy the thing myself but hanging out for a 'normal' Concord III really
Item number 180290055192 on eBay UK
Anyway, thought I'd post

Re: Concord H-III on eBay
Hi Dave,
I reckon that I could tolerate that sparkle finish quite happily!
In fact, I've got my eye on it and I have already been in touch with the seller to see if it would be available for collection!
(It's a nice drive down to York from where I live! )
Mmm??? Now all I've got to do is to convince my other half that I really, really need it!

Is that fighting talk there Caucajun?
Come on then, put yer dooks up!
"Please don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry!"
Seriously though, I need to think about whether I actually do really, really need another guitar ... like I need a hole in the head!
She's real pretty though!

Re: Concord H-III on eBay
Aw, shucks! Why didn't I think of that one?
I'm still in a should I/shouldn't I? frame of mind about it though! I would feel happier if I actually played all of my guitars but I don't! They just sit in the corner doing nothing!
I keep putting my sensible head on and telling myself that I don't need another guitar... but then the devil in me says that I want another guitar...
Help!!!!

Just bought a concord H-III..
Hey,
just found this forum and a new found love for Westone guitars today! Spotted a mint sparkly orange thing in the music shop (Edinburgh) Yesterday, Caught my eye, Had a go, blew me away and bought today! Was £220 got em down to £190. This really is the shiz with two AMAZING sounding humbuckers and a singlecoil its soo versatile it seems to be smoking my tele deluxe in everyway so far..not to mention the neck! Gonna try it out in practice tomorow with my marshall JCM 800 and if goes well will be gigging with it this Sat and next thurs! Yas! Oh and the finish is awesome will put some pics up when i get round to it..
Cheers!

Hello Zakio and Welcome!
OOOH! You might just have swayed me into making my decision about this '"Orange Sparkly thing" that I've got my eye on!
Yes please, get some photos up as soon as you can!

Re: Concord H-III on eBay
Heh, yeah my mind keeps drifting it back to it too, the neck on my old Concord III I remember was thin but lovely, can't believe no-one has snapped it up yet ! hee hee.
I've got too many guitars too though, and loving my little Eastwood P90 right now, especially with new Tonerider p/ups after ditching the rubbish that came fitted to it.
Must admit, I preferred the black/grey/blue sparkle on those blingy Westones...but the orange does have...um...character

Re: Concord H-III on eBay
Hello everybody!
I put you out of your misery on this one Polly by buying it - sorry! It's not orange, it's red and gold and quite, em glittery. In immaculate condition - looks like it was never played. Took me a while to figure out what all the switches do - I have 3 Gibson single pick up guitars, so quite complex by comparison. Humbuckers are great, coil tap sound less good IMO. Great neck on it - my first maple neck - always been a Gibson man till now. I started to look at Westones after I got a fretless Westbury Track 2 (also Matsumoko) 1981 bass off Ebay for 80 quid 6 months ago which was unbelievable value for money, is a monster bass in all respects and will kill any Fender! Will post photos of all guitars later.
Interestingly I am also from Edinburgh, so judging from the post from zakio above, there are now at least 2 sparkly Concord HIIIs here!

Ooooooh, I'm jealous too, I was sooo tempted but just couldn't justify it.
Sounds like you've got what is pretty much in Fender terminology a 'Closet Classic' there !
£150 well spent I think !
Enjoy

Re: Concord H-III on eBay
Hello there John and Welcome!
I'm just happy that the guitar went to another 'Westone Nut'! It's like keeping it in the family in a way because you have become a member here and at least we get to see photos of it! She sure is pretty!
I was really tempted too like Dave was but I couldn't justify buying it either! I'm actually selling off some of my collection at the minute to pay the bills!
Enjoy it mate and get those photos up quick smart!
