newbie help needed

hi guys.i,m in need of some help tracking down a westone monark.i owned one back in 89 but it was stolen from me in the late 90,s.since then i have put together a rather nice guitar collection but i so miss my monark and i just have,nt been able to find one.so any help would be great.

Hmmmm... there was a white one on one of the auction sites before Xmas, but it's gone now. They seem to be quite uncommon and I think Thorn may have one but that's the only one on the board I know about; you will probably just have to check the auction sites regularly; eBay, Craigslist and Kijiji in North America; eBay and Gumtree over here.

yeah that price is steep but its something i would pay.problem is i contacted him and he wont ship to the us.he is a bit on the nutty side.asked me to just pick it up from him even after i told him i am from the states.

be patient, monarks come up from time to time (I'd guess about every 2 to 3 month (?) ) and almost all of them in the USA (in fact this white one is the first one that i see outside the USA)...and all of them between 200 and 450 USD...
