Re: Optimistic Ebay Spectrum SX (UK)
I think it's a great guitar. But it's not worth £200. I confidently predict this will remain unsold.

I concur, and I'd have it in a heartbeat. However, I'm a miserable bastard and haven't paid more than £60 for a Spectrum, and that was a GT last year, so 200 is just a bit steep for me!! I'm betting these SX's have a great 'super-strat' sound going on, eh!!

Re: Optimistic Ebay Spectrum SX (UK)
£200?! Yikes! Why, that's (counts on fingers) $300 in Canadian money!
Grogg: The knobs look like aftermarket "Tele" style. This is (of course) missing the original Switchmaster style knobs. What are you Brits doing with all those missing knobs anyway??? Sheesh!

He's not the only one with unrealistic ideas of value; I keep seeing the cased Thunder (nice though it looks) at £349... dream on mate
This won't sell, it'll be touted round the local Cash Converters and someone's gonna get a rude awakening. Then it'll quietly reappear on ebay for auction.
Nice present for someone on here methinks!

Re: Optimistic Ebay Spectrum SX (UK)
Down to only £90 now, with £15.50 delivery... Much better - surely someone will bring it into the fold now?! Although I'm sure you're all saving your pennies for my wonderful ThunderJet or the fantastic opportunity that is..... THE THUNDER PROJECT!!

That's the spirit, never surrender!
I've got about 7 project guitars all collecting dust and in various states of disrepair, all littering the house. I have rebuilt them several times in my head (and they look good!), if only I could do it in the real world. One day..............someday!
DAN.

Don't have as many as that to finish...but, every time I pass the music room I hear strange muffled music playing, slightly out of tune, and a little voice in a vague Japanese accent, crying out, "Feex mee, feex mee, Barry San. Me so busted."DuoFuzz wrote:...I've got about 7 project guitars all collecting dust and in various states of disrepair, all littering the house. It's tragic.

Fortunately I don't hear them too often...my tinnitus usually drowns them out!corsair wrote:...Mate, when you're hearing wee voices in yer head...
