Spectrum I WE1400FLO
I recently found and bought one of these at a local guitar store where I live and I love the guitar. The neck is absolutely amazing and feels great. The color is aswell and the paint really isn't exactly like anything I've seen before. I had searched through the forum previously and found one thread where someone had one of these and posted it but now I cannot seem to locate it. I wanted to compare it to see if the headstock was the same because mine definitely does not seem to match the one from the catalog and I also don't think the bridge is original either. I was also wondering if there is already a thread somewhere that discussed the history/manufacturing of the brand because this is in the 1990 "Sign of the Times" catalog and I wanted to know if this is indeed the last year any Westones were made and if that is also the only time they were made only by SLM and with that headstock logo. Thanks for any help.

I'm definitely not an expert but from the few pictures I managed to load from westoneguitars.net, this looks a lot like a Villain? Maybe wait for someone else to confirm while you look into it

I think you're right, it looks like a Villain Standard WEV400RD to moi.

Definitely a 1990 Spectrum WE1400FLO... same one pictured in the catalog.

Doesn't appear to be a Villian, those had rounded lines and different horns, as well as different layouts.
Your bridge is aftermarket, the no name licensed floyd models that are available for $40 or so sometimes.
The headstock appears to be modified. Can you get get pics of the sides of the headstock, do you see evidence of a modification?

Re: Spectrum I WE1400FLO
Just got an 89 Spectrum GT myself, in near mint condition... BUT the neck can't be adjusted with a bow. Plays great with 10-50's on it, but I play 9-42's and that's a big difference! So I'm afraid it must go back
