Thunder I-A Bass body & neck (& everything else!)

More basses! These are on two separate auctions. The seller reckons they're from an 1986/87? He also mentions that he will be putting up more parts in the next few weeks.

1, BASS BODY - £10 starting bid. Is that a Magnabass pickup rout, or is it modified?
2, BASS NECK - £10 starting bid.

Late Thunders had Magnabass pickups, so that is probably a magnabass route.

Your right Grogg, it seems a bit heartless really.

Why break up a perfectly good instrument, the chances of one person winning all the parts to rebuild it are nigh on impossible.

I can only guess that the bass came with some sort of doner card for it to end up like this!

Quite a rare Thunder model too . Would have got more complete. Can't see the sense in it. Although if you need an item,,,,

I'd just spotted this lot too. Weird, add 'em all together and it must have been pretty well complete to start with.

The auctions for the body and neck have both finished. The body netted £16 and the neck went for £17.76!

All the parts found new homes, so at least somewhere a few Westones might have been rebuilt and saved!
