Tremolo install ?
Hello !
Is it possible to install a tremolo on a Thunder 1 model ?
I mean: not a Floyd Rose Tremolo, but the most simple way.
Anynthing but Bigsby ?
Thanks !

My Thunder One doesn’t have a tremolo bar or space to put one

Re: Tremolo install ?
i would suggest getting a different guitar with a tremolo rather than chopping up your thunder

If it has a fixed bridge like sensoo's, it would be easier to snag one with one already on it, but it's doable. If you are bent on doing it, YouTube tutorial it. It'll require a bit of routing.
Re: Tremolo install ?
I'll echo previous comments, it would be an awfully complicated project and in the process you'd be destroying a good guitar if it all goes sideways!
For my money, I would restore what you have and either look for a I-T model or find something else that will satisfy your need for a tremolo. If you refinish and clean up the Thunder you could sell it for a nice price which could cover the cost of your replacement guitar!
You'll be a lot happier and save yourself a ton of grief.
