Re: Selling a very nice Westone
Sorry to hear of your troubles. It's sad when a guitar player has to sacrifice his instrument.
But times will get better, all the best to you and your family.

Re: Selling a very nice Westone
It sold right off on ebay. That was one really nice Westone. Like new.
Thank you for the kind words Barry. I still have 5 more Westone so I will survive the virus. But don't think I will be performing until this all blows over. I had 236 gigs booked this year. All was good until the virus. I can hold out for another six months or so selling off guitars. My wife is sooooooo happy. I admit I may have too many if there is such a thing.

Most wives/partners just don't get it.
Perhaps they'd be happier if we gambled, drank, took drugs, and chased women?

If you know how many guitars you have, you don't have enough. . .

At the risk of hijacking the thread, I will address this rather bold statement...
I feel it is true. Because I have no real idea of numbers I own, and I have a yearning for a couple of specific models, this strikes a chord (!) within me!
To count them up in my head is not especially correct as I will inevitably forget some; the last time I added 'em up I forgot three, so there's that!!
And anyone who collects anything knows the pain of having an incomplete set; in my case a S/S/S Spectrum - (there isn't one, but there are a couple of Electra Phoenix so kitted out) - remains high on the want list, as does a 12 string Spectrum - (once again, they don't exist, but there were 2 made for Trevor Rabin, and Sarcaster in here made one!)...
However, prices for these things are such that I can't afford a minty one and therefore need a basket case to restore.... not making things easy for myself, eh?!?
So, just to expand a little on Chris' statement...
"If you don't know how many guitars you have, and you have a deep, unrequited wish for a specific guitar, you definitely don't have enough guitars!!"
Sorry about the hijack, but to start a new thread would take this out of context, I feel....
