String Problem on The Rail.
Does anyone know how to keep the tension on the strings while the 3 allen screws get tightened?
I've tried everything but cant get enough tension on them.
And then when I try to tune, the screws in the tuners touch the ball of the strings and prevent me from tuning further.
I need to, somehow, keep an enormous amount of tension on them while securing them at the head and I just cant figure out how to do it.
HELP please.....

Re: String Problem on The Rail.
Are you sure you have the strings on the right way around?? My understanding of the headless set-up is that the ball ends go under the clamp where the headstock would be and the tails go to the bridge??

Re: String Problem on The Rail.
No, the ball end goes to the bridge.
The tail runs through the "headstock" and gets clamped down.
I know double ball can be used but I did manage to figure out my dilemma using normal strings.
The screws in the tuners were tightened all the way down and weren't supposed to be.
After adjusting them out halfway, that gave me the tuning movement I needed.
