Red Thunder 1A bass with removed serial number - just a heads up
Hi guys
Just checking through this listing and noticed the serial number has been removed/gouged out.
The only reason for that would normally be?..the seller said it was like that when he purchased it.
Take a look and see if it stirs up any memories

Oh, that's nasty! Yeah someone's trying to hide something. What a bloody shame.
Coincidentally, I was on the Parker forum recently and someone there (in the US) had picked up a PM20 from a seller in the UK. It's serial number had been defaced also. He was in the process of trying to ascertain provenance. The best o' British luck to him!

I really hate all that poop, most of us end up paying to play compared to a regular 9-5 (rubbish car, nice guitar syndrome) and when we find a guitar that works for us and it is borrowed without permission, it's like loosing a limb....complete low lifes
I have held back reporting it to ebay because then it will just disappear again..hopefully someone will make the connection

More than likely nicked at some stage in it's life.
Have an original Marshall JCM 800 2203 head with the serial numbers gouged out, pity.
Presume the same happened.

Wow, great amps. I remember seeing Ted Nugent frazzle a few of those at Hammersmith Odeon (Man, that gig was sooo loud, ears still ringing days after)
Do you remember the days when the Musicians Union used to turn up, unannounced at shows and check your card, AND also your gear!!! Haven't had that in years

Remember the council coming into a boozer years ago and stopped the 'duo' playing.Meadows wrote:

They only had a license(the pub) for a 'duo' to play there.
One of my buddies had got up and joined them for a few songs.
You know what the council can be like, little Hitlers!!
Took a little explaining before the music carried on, idiots!
And yes those Marshalls can rip the skin from your face.....
