The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
OK group... I'm (obviously) a fan of the pointy models, but LOVE the Spectrum line and HURT for my own Thunder. Trying to decide which model will be the next shirt design venture (I DID start the Spectrum shirt last year, but didn't finish). Not trying to make our forum a flea market... just hoping to get some input so I don't "loose my shirt" on future efforts. Please let me know what you'd be interested in if I were to design and offer future designs based on _____ model. Thanks!

Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
I'd lean towards Spectrum as well. The problem as I see it from a marketing point of view, is that the individual model lines don't have additional branding like the distinctive Pantera "roaring panther". They all come under the Westone logo only.
The only thing that differentiates them perhaps, is the head stock shape, and there isn't a lot of difference between say the Spectrum and the Concord, or the Thunder and the Prestige.

I support the Spectrum idea as well. Even though my favorites are the D-IV's, the Spectrums do stand out as being the more conservative/traditionally accepted models.
(plus the fact that I don't want the D-IV's to become advertised. Everyone would want one, prices would go up, cash flow would stop, stocks would plummet and global economical chaos would ensue etc..)

Did you do a shirt with the Birdie logo only?
A mix of the Dynasty, Dim IV , and Monark would be cool to see

The "birdie"?
The birdie?!
It's a meat eating avian raptor that will rip out your still beating heart and show it to you. Then hit an E chord with one of its talons while kicking over the Marshall amp with the other one.
* Ahem * uh, yeah, the Westone birdie is likely the best approach. Or, your choice of several logo variations.

First of all, stay safe!
When the rain finally stops, set up a free account with servimg.com and you can re-post the pix if you like.
Photobucket can bite me.

Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
Thanks for asking. We're ok, we were on the western side of the hurricane...the eye was about 50 miles due east of my house and we had 40 to 50 mph winds. I only got about 3 inches of rain total. On the bad side we have a relative in Houston that lost everything in their home and had to be rescued off their roof after being on it for over 15 hours. They are ok now and not hurt thank GOD. We tried to get to them Sunday but couldn't make it pass Columbus Texas which is about 64 west of Houston because of the severe flooding. Those poor Folks they need help.
Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
Glad you're OK man, but my God what a horrible ordeal!
You can't save the world, or even Texas, but do what you can for family and friends.
You'll get through this, and please be aware (if I can speak for everyone) that we're all here for you, at least in spirit.

Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
What we're seeing here n the idiot box looks bloody awful - be safe!!
In the same vein, though - but not to lessen the horror that Texas is suffering - we've just had a couple of bushfires rip through not too far away from us; we were prepared to bug out at the drop of a hat and I had stacked all of my gear, musical and non-musical, in the middle of the shed... the only things we would take are the pets - guinea pigs, chooks, rats and quail - and the backup hard drives. Scared the bejabbers out of us..

Natural disaster shines a light on what's really important. Glad you are both alright.
Matsumokukuku, been praying for those affected, looking at the best ways to help, too.

What a crazy place is this planet Earth.
John, British Columbia (the west coast of Canada) has been on fire most of the year. That looks frightening as hell too. Glad you and yours are OK.

Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
Thanks Guys I appreciate it. A thought just occurred to me as to how many Westies are in the Houston area and have been damaged and affected by the floods. WOW.
Re: The NEXT shirt design - your input welcomed
That's a miserable thing to contemplate but I suspect that not just Westies are affected.

Oh! I am a fan of this brand. Talking about clothes, I just purchased a few work out clothes from here for my workout. They are simply amazing and I love how comfortable they are. It is good to know that you are offering customization. I can actually get things printed on the t-shirt.
