Pantera 1 battery goes where?

Hello, new to the forum, but wondered if anyone could help... Whilst changing the battery on my Pantera 1 Bass The guitar slipped result the red power cable discconected and not a clue where it needs to be soldered... anyone help please

Bummer!  You should be able to see where it connects, there should still be a small piece of the broken wire connected to it.  Let us know if you can't locate it.

Yeah that can be unnerving when there's no schematic to check. But as Chad said, have a close look at the board and you should be able to figure out where it was.

If there's a piece of wire sticking out of a solder joint you're good to go. If no wire is visible just examine the "lonely" looking solder joints carefully, you should still be able to see a piece of wire buried there. A magnifying glass would be helpful.

Oh, and some pix would be helpful. We have nothing on the web site for these beasts. (eg. One battery or two?)

no done it real good. that was the first thing I looked for, but no such luck.
Theres a small circuit board wondered if it popped outa there of if connected with other cables.... Its got grey cables running to the pick ups - white to the 3 way switch with the shielding soldered to one of the three pots.... the rest is just the jack which the black is connected to and thats it

It should normally be connected to the PCB.
