WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
Hey all. So the bug has taken hold of me. I just bought a minty black Spectrum SX. I currently have a Pantera x300 and a red SX. I ordered some tasty custom wide range humbuckers for the red SX and then decided I love the tone too much and can't mess with it..so I bought another to be the test mule. This new one's in almost immaculate condition, but it's missing two of the three locking nut pieces and I'd like to have them. I don't want to make my own. I see an OLD post on here where someone had 20-30 sets handy but not sure if they're still around or not.
Anyway, if anyone has a set or two (or three) I'd love to take them off your hands.
I'm also still looking for a trussrod cover for my x300. Westbone tried to help me out, but the one he had was a variant that doesn't fit mine. If anyone has one kicking around that is the flat bottom, rather than the arrowhead shape, let me know!
Thanks everybody.
Pic for reference. (this is the actual guitar)

Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
The locking nut on caracall's x300 is not a stock item but a replacement.
Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
Westbone, from what I've found scouring the internets it seems like there are two stock X300 nuts.
Below are two images that match my configuration
and then one that matches the other configuration.

Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
The first two are replacements not original parts.
Yours is below which is also a replacement or an odd one they used.

Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
Do this and send me the paper tracing I'll sort you out one.
Do you still have the one I sent you?

Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
Pretty crazy. I guess maybe just a common replacement mod then.
I still have the one you sent me. Let me see if maybe I can track down an original nut and if I can't I'll shoot you over a tracing.
Thanks again!

Re: WTB: Locking nut cover/shims
Forgot to mention the lock clamps were sent off on Wednesday, I'd expect a week or two, there's a bunch of 8mm and 12mm bolts included too though you may need to trim down the 12mm by 1mm,it's a good idea not to use the shorter bolts on the E/A string clamp as it's likely to strip out the thread of the hole

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up and the advice. I'll post pics once I get the guitar set up and in-hand.
