Westone Cases
I have just acquired a Westone Thunder case and in the process of cleaning it, noticed a couple of interesting marks.
On the front within the Bird Logo are three 6's
On the reverse behind the neck is the number 62
Has anyone seen this before?, could the rear one be a batch number?...666 or 999 ??
Photo's.....

Re: Westone Cases
None of my Westone branded cases have that; I think someone had a "number of the beast" thing going on!!

Re: Westone Cases
Thanks guys
It does look a bit strange I have to say. However I have sent a message to the guy I got it from who had it from new just to find out if he can shed any dark satanic light on the matter.

Re: Westone Cases
Out of the way men, let an ordained pastor such as myself look at this...
Yep. It's satan.
Seems Westone was endorsing him for a while, rare find you got there.
He later dropped Westone, signed on with Gibson and screwed them royally in the 80's early 90's, then went with Schecter. They named a lot of their line for him... Devil, Damien, Avenger, Hellraiser, Hellcat...

Classic..
Tell me Pastor Chad, what do you suggest I do with this devils work?
Cleanse it using a Daisy Rock candy classic?, spend the rest of eternity seeking the eternal resting place of the spear of destiny and reunite them...or just put it back on ebay???? and spend the money I get back on avocado's ???

Re: Westone Cases
Lol from me!
Now, to cleanse the case...
Thinketh it no coincidence that Steve (Dimension IV Addict) is creating his Angelic X850 bass. Upon its completion, the angelic X850 will miraculously appear within the devil's case. Openeth not the case. Sprinkle the case 45 times chanting "the power of attorney compels you" and perform 53 hail Tom Presley's. Play the smoke on the water riff until the banging stops and the smoke clears. Cautiously peek to ensure that all three 6's have indeed disappeared. Verily, thine case hath been cleansed. Should any bits of Steve's bass remaineth, ye shall rejoice with him.
Amen.

Re: Westone Cases
Actually all joking aside, I am getting a little concerned I have not heard back from the guy I bought the devils case from, after I asked him to clarify the origins of these significant but strange markings,......you don't think???
