A quick thanks
Just a quick thanks to Barry, Corsair, and everyone else who keeps this site running so smoothly. When I was checking the forum this morning, I saw there was yet another spam attack, and it was removed quickly. I also read that there was a DDoS recently, but I never saw any interruption of service. Well done, and thanks for all your hard work.

Re: A quick thanks
Most of the good work is done by Barry and the DDoS attack was thwarted by Neil; I just hang around getting in the way, but you're very welcome!

Re: A quick thanks
Indeed our admin team is always left with unspoken thanks.
But in minds and hearts, let it be known.
Special thanks guys. You're the reason we're actually here.

Re: A quick thanks
Thanks fellas.
None of us does it alone, we have an extraordinarily supportive little team here. What one can't do the other steps in and takes over.
And what makes it unusual is that the three of us are literally scattered across the globe...Corsair in Australia (for the moment at least!), Neil in England, and me in Canada. That has some advantages because of the differing time zones. Usually one of us spots trouble before too much time elapses and it gets out of hand.
Nice to know it's appreciated.

Re: A quick thanks
i'd love to meet a few more of the denizens of this and the other Matt forums I frequent, and in fact plan to do just that in a year or two!!
The Electra lads have had a meet and greet for 3 or 4 years running now, and that looks so much fun, but of course Electra were peculiar to North America so they don't have the global thing happening that we do!
We intend to return to Europe in a few years and will be transiting through the US and Canada, so one day, a large, bald kiwi with an Australian accent will be pitching up on your doorsteps, people of North America!!
Consider youselves warned!!

Re: A quick thanks
One thing I appreciate is how welcoming everyone is to a new member. That is not the case on many forums online.
If any of you are ever in the NJ/NY area, please let me know. First round is on me.

Likewise, if you guys are passing by North Herts on route, your very welcome to crash over. Just so you know we live in a small house so you'll have to crash in the music room...sorry about that......the only condition being you grab a guitar you like and we hunt down a jam session

You know that you are always welcome as are all to stop in and enjoy a few Westone and Electra models if you ever find you are in or around South Ga on Interstate 75 just north of Georgia Florida state line.
