MMK75 neck pups
i've been looking around for a neck/bridge set of MMK75's for while now.
i recently found one MMK75 for sale on ebay. i contacted the seller and was told it was a bridge pickup (on the right in the pic), and i also found out he had a neck pickup too. i bought both of them.
then a few days later, another listing for another pickup like the first one. and we do the same thing as before. so now i have two "sets" of these
so obviously these are not really a proper pair, so i do some investigating.
looking at other guitars with these pickups reveals that the one with the yellow lead is for the X350 neck position, the one with the brown lead is for the X390 neck position.
pulling off the covers confirms both pups have the same pole spacing, for neck position
the pickups are all just like new, the plastic covers are nearly perfect. they were listed as "never installed" and that looks to be the case. i got them from a seller in St. Louis, home of SLM.
the only thing is, i still have no bridge pickup. so the search continues.
what i'm looking for is the MMK75 with a gray covering, one conductor and a shield
and now there is a listing for a "pair" just like these two on ebay

Re: MMK75 neck pups
one conductor and shield, just like the yellow one above for the neck position.
X350 does not have coil splitting, so just needs hot and ground (single conductor, shield)
the bridge pickup on the X350 is an MMK75 with black plastic cover. the lead has gray outer coating, shield, single conductor.

Very, very pretty indeed!! I do like the way the battery compartment has been carved out odpf the control cavity; attention to detail, eh!! Recessed tuners... so much to like!!
