Hello, would someone here know if the company on this website: https://www.westone.com is the same company that built westone guitars in the past?

No. No connection. This one is a company, Westone was a brand name of Matsumoku..

oh, that makes sense. like matsumoku was the company and not westone.com for westone line of guitars ?
