Estate Liquidator in Idaho has a Westone Thunder 1 For Sale

First, I appreciate the opportunity to learn from this fantastic resource. I have a listing on Ebay and I really have no knowledge of Westones and limited knowledge of guitars in general. I am a buyer and seller of all things of value.

Looks legit to me, but I'm no expert on the Thunders....

She's an '82 and looks to be in decent condition, except for some scuffing on the neck. Nice to have an original case.

The bridge pickup has been replaced as well as 4 of the machine heads for some strange reason.

You're right about the nut and input jack Mike, missed that on a quick once over. But I'm clearly seeing only 2 black Westone embossed machine heads. The other 4 are plain chrome with what looks like their protective stickers still attached to the dust covers.

Look at pic 6 from the left (full body shot of guitar upsidedown in case), the backs of all the machine heads are chrome. The machine heads of strings 1 and 2 must be reflecting something black in pic 8. Yes, the output jack seems to be padded out with a repair washer. Lovely case though, fits the guitar like a glove and is clean. I'm desperate for an original Westone case for a Thunder Jet bass, sadly this will be too short.

Could it be an MMK75? did the 53's come with these covers? (I'm too busy/lazy to check)
