Does anyone live in or near New York?
Hi Guys
Just wondered if anyone lives near the Forest Hills district of New York please. I have seen a guitar advertised I have been after for a while but after communicating with the seller I am not sure I would trust their guitar knowledge to take the neck off and pack it safely.
I know it's a big ask but just thought I would put this one out there.
I am based in the UK, I would obviously cover all costs and supply liquor funds.
One other question if I may: The guitar I am looking at has 3 singles p/u's and a 3 position switch. Could it be rewired with a new 5 position switch to give me positions 2 and 4 as well?
I am not 100% on this yet, just testing the water first.
Many thanks
Si

Re: Does anyone live in or near New York?
There you go, it's sold, not to worry, hope the new owner enjoys . It was an early Japanese strat, possibly a Mats????, made under the Carlo Robelli name (Sam Ash)
Here is the ex link:

They would of packed and posted but the guy said they were a pawn shop and he had never taken a neck off before and their general guitar knowledge was a bit limited, no worries.

You're the man! I may take you up on that one day, if a Prestige strikes my fancy and I willing to pay the massive shipping!
