Westone Thunder I-A parts on eBay UK

I see that fella from Boston has listed quite a few bits from a 1984 Thunder I-A he's breaking:

Neck
Body
Tuners
Brass knobs
Truss-rod cover
Bridge
String retainer
Neck plate
Control cavity cover
Switch & battery covers (not original)

No connection & all that...

I hate this kind of thing with a passion. But I suppose if you're missing a part it's Mana from heaven.

I'm not keen on parting out guitars, either..

Bought the neck from him against my better judgement.

Well!!! described as "almost no wear to the fingerboard or frets"
It arrived. His post quote was almost twice the cost of the actual postage. Don't mind a bit but that's taking the p**s. Just wrapped in a bit of cardboard.

This is from 1st. to 10th fret.





After much tooing and froing.
Every excuse under the sun.
Lives in the sticks and I have to pay his bus fare to the post office and back because he's handicapped with epilepsy and his 3 legged camel is lame. Fook me what a load of BS.

Final result,. got a partial refund.

Those frets are good for keeping the strings centred, though, so really he was doing you a favour...
