Joint Pain Miracle??
Most of the regulars know that I had a stroke 2 years ago on New Year's Day.
Most of the details and discussion took place on This Thread.
The stroke interference has pretty much dissipated now, only to be replaced by the debilitating effects of osteoarthritis over the past year or so.
It has been a constant fear of mine that the pain in my small joints would soon manifest themselves in the big joints. Well, finally, that fear was realized about a month ago. I was walking upstairs when I received sharp pain in my left knee. I've had an occasional flair-up in the past but it always subsided, and increasing my Sierra Sil Joint Formula 14 seemed to always relieve the distress, as it has done for the past 3 years. But not this time.
This time the pain was excruciating. To the point where I could not raise my leg when in a seated position. It was as if a spike had been driven into my knee cap! I was petrified! If my right leg became similarly afflicted, I could not raise it, and I'd be unable to drive. Completely buggered would I be.
Seriously boys, I was literally crying with the pain and could barely get my shoe on. No way could I lift my leg. Walking was OK, but I could barely get up after sitting down. I had to use my hands to drag my leg towards me to get enough leverage to stand up. The situation looked desperate.
My 'boss' at the shop came down with Mulitple Sclerosis last year and has been struggling a lot. In his effort to cope, he replaced his toxic Interferon therapy with an enzyme product called Wobenzym N. His progress has been remarkable. No more thick-headed wasted days on the couch trying to cope with the Interferon. Instead he's replaced those horrible injections with a few pills. And he's functional again!
As I was relating my situation to him he strongly recommended I try the Wobenzym N. It has shown clinically to be effective in reducing joint pain inflammation. What can I say, I was desperate. I know there's no known "cure" for OA but I do know that anything that reduces inflammation has got to be a good thing.
Long story short: Started it Dec 20. Felt immediate benefit. Today, 10 days later, no pain at all!
I'm over the moon! It's like a small miracle. I'm hoping going forward that the small joints of the hand will begin to also respond. Even if they don't I have my mobility back and I'm thankful for that.
If you are having joint pain issues please try it. It is not a drug, it's a naturally occurring enzyme and the stuff works!
Happy New Year all.

Might give it a try as well, sounds almost too good. Having had a large spur and a load of OA bone cut off my shoulder 6 months ago this sounds like a better option to try.
What they doing this time Damian?

Re: Joint Pain Miracle??
Sorry to hear of your problems too Greg. I have no idea the extent to which this stuff will help, yours and Damian's situation seems pretty extreme. Again, it's not a pain reliever in the usual sense, but with luck it will give some relief. (Arthritic) fingers crossed.

Just tore 'cause the shoulders was weak from the previous injury.
Have to keep off dirt bikes.

Re: Joint Pain Miracle??
Judging by your posts things are looking good or is it the anaesthetics?
